how about the “Sweet Caroline” (wah wah wah) ? :)

  2. Lisa Prusasky

    Bamboozle!

  3. Anne M.

I would name this bag “Takenoko”, which means stalk of bamboo in Japanese :)

  4. Heather R

This satchel immediately made me think of the name “Garcelle.” So, I am suggesting that you name this beauty “Garcelle Satchel.” For those of you who may not know, there is an actress by the name of Garcelle Beauvais. She’s gorgeous and embodies class and she is also a working mom! What is so appealing about this satchel is that it would work for anyone! Whether you’re a mother, grandmother, stylish teen, this bag would be perfect and versatile for anyone!

  5. Susan

I think it should be called the Amelia messenger bag after Amelia Earhart. It looks like a bag she would have used for her travels in the air.

  6. Elisabeth Bender

The Traveler – looks like a good bag that would hold a lot of your traveling necessities.

  7. Elisabeth Bender

Elisabeth Satchel – I think it would be cool to have a bag named after my name :) haha.

  8. Holly pfeifer

Penelope Satchel. The name is fun and sophisticated, just like the bag!

  9. Holly pfeifer

Also really the name Alistair Satchel. It’s a classic name that fits the look of the bag.

  10. Lauren

How about calling it the “Earhart Satchel.” It reminds me of something Amelia Earhart would have carried during her travels, and the bamboo closure suggests a sense of other-worldliness. :)

  11. Lauren

wow didn’t see the other Amelia Earhart comment! (great minds think alike!)

Also, what about the “Oriana Satchel”? The stitching reminds me of a sunrise, (and the name Oriana comes from the French and Latin words for sunrise.)

  12. Sheryl Edwards

    World Traveler Satchel

  13. Lunachique

Nellie after the adventurous Nellie Bly.

  14. Jamie

The Emerson – It reminds me of Emerson’s style!

  15. SANDY

slumber, or thumbs, or tag along or take along

  16. saminder gumer

i would call this the kobe satchel because it is the top of it class.

  17. Debra Simning-Chapman

I think the name “Sunny”, the flap looks like it has rays coming from the bamboo toggle.

  18. Patricia

Patricia!! Why not? I love it. I’d buy it for thr pockets!

  19. Melissa M.

This bag really reminds me of a messenger bag that you use when you travel or our for a day of sight-seeing. I myself do a lot of traveling, so why not name it after me?

    the Melissa Messenger (or Satchel)

or Delta Messenger (named purely after the airline I travel on frequently)
This bag is gorgeous and has that world-traveler look.

  20. Holly pfeifer

How about Petrolina, an exotic name for the “worldly” kind of girl!

  21. Jamie

My other choice would be the “Addison” since that’s my daughter’s name and the bag looks like it needs to have a very strong name with the “son” at the end (ie: Madison, Emerson, Addison…)

  22. Melody Gulich

How about the “Boo Crossbody Messenger”. Instead of calling it the most obvious “Bamboo” because of the cute handle, how about “Boo” for short?
Like, “The Boo Crossbody Messenger with it’s Bamboo Handle, and executive feel, will have you carrying this bag everywhere, as your go-to-carryall. For work, play, or to organize your favorite items, the Boo Crossbody Messenger will become your ‘Boo’ wherever you go!”

  23. jody

Best Friend Satchel because anyone who gave me this bag as a gift would instantly become my best friend.
This bag could also be know as Jody Needs $50 so she can buy the Tommy tote!

    1. jody

Other reason this bag should be named the Best Friend Bag include:
it’s like a best friend.. it will go everywhere and anywhere with you, like your best friend, you can dress it up or down and it’s dependable.

It’s stylish, fashionable and fun… just like your best friend.

  24. Jennie

How about the Bambi satchel? It has an earthy, nature feel to it and the bamboo turn lock detail instantly made me think of “Bambi” :)

  25. Jeannine - MyBitsandBleeps

    “Touch of Class” Satchel

The Bamboo turn lock detail delivers just that.

  26. Lisa Vigna

This is a very sassy, versatile satchel. The name needs to epitomize a no-frills, on the go, chic woman of the world. She’s fashion forward but shows it with ease and elegance

I’d call it the Alexis Satchel. She’s sexy and she knows it. ;)

Alternate name-The Piper Satchel, thinking of the actress Piper Perabo. Natural beauty!

‘South Pacific’ is one of my favorite musicals and when I saw this bag, it reminded me of it immediately. The sunrise/sunset stitching on the flap and the bamboo lock immediately calls to mind the island paradise. This nameless bag also reminds me of a traveler, the song ‘Bali Ha’i’ from the musical evokes a sense of longing to see the world. Here’s a clip from the movie version that inspired my name choice: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=81NROmUb7o0

I would call the bag ‘The South Pacific Satchel’ or the ‘Bali Ha’i Bag’

  29. jametria jones

I like the name “Sahara”. I was looking at the sunburst design on it and the wood closure just reminds me of something African inspired.

  30. paula

I would call it MATILDA BAMBOO

  31. Cindi

I come from a family of baseball fans and my husband/sons
are also fans of baseball…This lovely bag being a Satchel made
me think of the old time baseball player “Satchel Paige!” Before he was a baseball player, Paige used to be a bag porter at the train station, where he got his nickname. The name “Paige Satchel Bag” sounds great
    to me…
    Many thanks, Cindi

The Oliver Messenger bag……from Oliver Twist….You’ve got to pick a pocket or two!

  33. Beth lewis

  35. tracey byram

    The Cosmopolitan

  36. Haley M.

The Panda bag because of the cute bamboo detail :]

  37. Holly pfeifer

Zadie bag. The name, like the bag is classic with a twist!

  38. Debra Simning-Chapman

I like the name Penny, as in bright as a penny. It fits in with the goldtone on the bag.

  39. Cathy T

Maybe the “Han Satchel” or the “Ming Satchel” I came up with this when I saw the Bamboo turn lock detail on the bag, and the first thing that popped into my mind was “CHINA” LOL. Han as in the Han Dynasty that was dated all the way back to 206 B.C.E, and Ming as in the Ming Dynasty 1368! (: So historic! XD

    ?Cathy

  40. Cathy T

I thought of another one! Maybe the “Evangeline Bag” When I saw the bag, (especially the black one) this name immediately popped up in my head. I think its perfect, cause while the bag has clean cut, sharp material and edges, the name i imagine has clean, cut, and sharp sounding features as well. If that makes sense. XD

  41. Haleigh

I think it should be penny. I think it’s a sweet, feminine name, and it’s also classy. And right away the bag to me looks classy, and also feminine.

Side note: My nickname from my grandpa is Penelope, and my sister calls me Penny because of it.

  42. Crittle

I like ‘Sunburst Satchel’ because of the stitching on the flap

  43. Damla (Sweepstake Lover)

The lines on the cover are like sunbeam, so I suggest “Dark Sunrise”.

  44. Gaby G.

Dita satchel bag :) Because reminder the sophistication of Dita Von Tise.

  45. Nancy Reid

    The Parisian

    or

    Chloe

  46. Ashley H

I think you should name the bag “Fynley” that’s my daughters name and I always thought it would make a cute handbag name :)
    (@couponmomfl)

  47. Ashley H

Or I think “The Harlow” bag would be a cool name. It’s unique and fresh. Perfect for a unique trendy bag.
    (@Couponmomfl)

  48. Ashley H
  49. Patti

I would name it the Military Satchel in honor of our military men and women. I think it has a military vibe.

  50. J.R.

“Otea”, a traditional Tahitian dance. Aside from its unique name, this bag is fun and versatile. With the bamboo detail, makes you in touch with nature and still giving the casual/laidback feel. I would carry this bag to the streets and sands of Bora Bora and can easily dance with the locals if i passby with nothing to worry about, coz the bag is just hanging with me. ‘Otea’ can be worn for a more casual/dressy scene as well :)

  51. MC

How about the Huxley Satchel? The handbag has a very English feel for me so I thought it needed a British sounding name. Thanks!
