FATJ: I work in fundraising for a non-profit organization. My style reflects both the fun and youthful side of me as well as my professional and classic side.
How would you describe your style?
FATJ: Classic glam with an edge, clean and sophisticated, yet colorful and playful!
Who or what most influences your fashion style sense?
FATJ: I am influenced by bloggers, designers, public figures and people on the street who play on classic pieces in fun, youthful and modern ways.
Celebrity most admired for their fashion style:
FATJ: My style is fairly varied, so I really enjoy the style of several beautiful ladies for different reasons: Kate Middleton and Michelle Obama for their classic glam looks, Blake Lively for her edgy modern style, and Emma Stone and Lauren Conrad for their playful and vintage looks.
Your friends/peers know you best for what fashion accessory obsession?
FATJ: I’m currently obsessed with mint in every form. I’m also rarely without my favorite white or rose gold watches!
What colors are you most drawn to when choosing a handbag?
FATJ: Well structured tan, white and red bags in fun prints and textures.
When it comes to fashion ….a) what will you splurge on? b) What are most price conscience about?
FATJ: a) A great classic watch that I can wear for years. b) Trendy items that are not likely to stay in style long.
Describe the core focus/objective of your blog:
FATJ: The main focus of my blog is affordable styling of classic pieces together with more unique elements in a way that looks chic, modern and posh. I love when my readers comment on how they appreciate inspiration they don’t have to spend a lot of money on.
What has been the biggest surprise of all in regards to your experience running a blog?
FATJ: I’ve been consistently surprised and excited by where my readership comes from. It is great seeing people from all over the world interact with my blog.
What are you most excited about to share with your readership in regards to Mimi Boutique’s accessory selection?
FATJ: I love Mimi Boutique’s beautiful statement necklaces that are so affordable too!
