WGAW: Full time student and part time server in a restaurant.
How would you describe your style?
WGAW: Oddly, I’d describe it as classic with a little bit of quirk. I love classic looks but I love adding quirky details to make them more me.
Who or what most influences your fashion style sense?
WGAW: The blog world totally influences me. It’s so fun to see what other people are doing, especially in different areas of the US and all over the world.
Celebrity most admired for their fashion style:
WGAW: This is probably over said but Zooey Deschanel. She’s just absolutely gorgeous and she has such a fun, sweet style.
Your friends/peers know you best for what fashion accessory obsession?
WGAW: It’s a toss up between hair accessories and tights. I love them both and wear them as often as possible. At work I wear a uniform so I try to wear things in my hair so that I can be a little more unique.
What colors are you most drawn to when choosing a handbag?
WGAW: Pink, black and blue (think cerulean).
When it comes to fashion ….a) what will you splurge on? b) What are most price conscience about?
WGAW: I usually will splurge on a good pair of pants. I’m short and curvy so finding that perfect pair of pants can be really rough. If I find a perfect match the cost is absolutely secondary. As for being price conscience, probably casual tops. We’re talking something I’d wear on the weekend to hang out with my boyfriend and have a movie marathon day. Cheap white t-shirt all the way!
Describe the core focus/objective of your blog:
WGAW: My blog is all about me! I focus on my life and my interests – mainly working and classes, friends and family and things that I love such as writing, reading and of course shopping.
What has been the biggest surprise of all in regards to your experience running a blog?
WGAW: The community that comes with blogging. I still remember the first comment I get on my blog. The idea that someone was interested in my life and read my words was just astonishing to me. Now, 5 years later I can say I’ve made so many good friends through blogging and that is so incredibly important to me.
What are you most excited about to share with your readership in regards to Mimi Boutique’s accessory selection?
WGAW: Well how awesome the accessories are, of course. I love that Mimi Boutique has something for everyone and that pieces can be mixed and matched to create different vibes.
